Incorporated by an act of Congress in 1937, the Marine Corps League perpetuates the traditions and spirit of ALL Marines who proudly wear or who have worn the eagle, globe and anchor of the Corps.
Members of the Marine Corps League join together in camaraderie and fellowship for the purpose of preserving the traditions and promoting the interests of the United States Marine Corps, banding together those who are now serving in the United States Marine Corps and those who have been honorably discharged from that service that they may effectively promote the ideals of American freedom and democracy, voluntarily aiding and rendering assistance to ALL Marines and to their widows and orphans; and to perpetuate the history of the United States Marine Corps and by fitting acts to observe the anniversaries of historical occasions of particular interest to Marines.

“Once a Marine, Always a Marine” is familiar to us all! It is that feeling you get when you see a Marine Corps sticker on a car or a home proudly displaying the Marine Corps Flag. We know we can knock on the door and that Marine will be there for us.
The Esprit de Corps among the membership is embodied by our motto “Semper Fidelis” - “Always Faithful.”
Your involvement is key to the success of each one of our Detachments, Auxiliary Units and our Organization. It takes each and every one of us pulling together to get the important work done of serving our Veterans and their families, our communities, and our country.
